Update: We're Expanding

The POA's board of directors have decided to go forward with the expansion of the Animal Shelter.  Construction is scheduled to begin later this year.  Thanks to all of you who have supported the effort to get this project started.

The Cat House

Recently a new addition has been added to the lobby of the Animal Shelter.

The new addition, pictured below, is a walk-in cage to house cats that

are ready and waiting for adoption.

Annual Blessing of the Animals

On Oct. 5th Father Raphael Kitz conducted the blessings.

During the festivities held at the Balboa Pavilion, Mark Osborne brought
his champion border collies for a demonstration of their herding abilities.

If you missed the fun at the HSV AWL fund raiser,

you can see some of the pets brought to the function by visiting the
Pet Photo Album above.

Don't forget to bring those aluminum cans and Cranford receipts.
All goes to help maintain the shelter.
